An original Polish poster for the 1974 release of “Chinatown”, featuring artwork by Andrzej Klimowski. The poster is in great condition with one very light horizontal fold and clean pinholes in each corner. 

Chinatown is an American neo-noir mystery film directed by Roman Polanski and written by Robert Towne. It stars Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway, with supporting performances from John Huston, John Hillerman, Perry Lopez, Burt Young, and Diane Ladd. Produced by Robert Evans and distributed by Paramount Pictures, Chinatown was Polanski's final film made in the United States and is considered a landmark of the film noir genre, blending mystery and psychological drama.

Private investigator J.J. "Jake" Gittes is hired to investigate a supposed affair, but this leads him to uncover a vast conspiracy involving corruption, murder, and the Los Angeles water supply. Gittes finds that the woman who hired him was an imposter, and the case spirals into a complex and dark plot involving the wealthy Noah Cross, his daughter Evelyn Mulwray, and the death of her husband, Hollis Mulwray, the chief engineer of the Department of Water and Power. The conspiracy is rooted in a land grab scheme that hinges on controlling the city's water during a drought.
