Framing Materials
Frames
Having chosen your poster, we can offer you the choice of one of our carefully selected standard wooden frames from our core range or alternatively offer you a completely bespoke custom frame.
The range of standard wooden frames consists of classic Carbon Black, Pure White and Graphite Gray in a variety of both smooth and grain finish, all of which are 22mm square.
If choosing a bespoke frame, the possibilities are endless - hardwoods, veneer facings, rub-throughs, open or closed grain, metallic through to metal; all of which can be enhanced with the use of fillets and slips which along with the frames can be oiled, waxed, colour matched and even hand painted.
No matter which route you choose all framing is carried out to conservation standards, with all materials used being acid free (ph neutral) and the majority of our frames use FSC certified timbers all of which are grown in Europe.
Our average lead time for bespoke framing is 10-14 days, but if you need something sooner then please let us know when ordering and we will do our best to meet your deadline.
The finished frame will not only enhance the overall look but will also protect the poster for years to come.

Glazing
Making clear decisions about your glazing is essential to preserve the integrity of your poster. We hold variants of market leading specialist glass. Artglass, as well as stocks of float glass.
Standard Washed Float Glass
Float Glass is popular choice of glass due to being incredibly cost-effective, durable and highly resistant against scratches.
Often also called clear float glass, it has a slightly greenish appearance that is particularly visible when looking at the edges of the glass. This slightly greenish tint is due to the presence of iron in the raw materials.
Artglass UV99 Glass
Providing the maximum protection from UV light and therefore preventing fading.
Artglass UV99 absorbs 99% of all harmful UV light, helping prevent the poster from fading while maintaining a crisp image resolution with zero ‘orange peel’ effect surface distortion.
Artglass AR70 Anti Reflection Glass
Designed to remove glare and reflections while also blocking the majority of harmful ultraviolet rays.
Guaranteeing true colour representation, enhancing colour accuracy while also protecting the poster from fading.
Artglass AR99 Water White
Supreme quality anti-reflective glass, with maximum UV protection.
Offering unprecedented clarity of conservation-grade picture framing glass. It eliminates the unwanted tinting and shading while also protecting your poster from UV light damage.
