An original quad poster from the 1999 re-release of “The Italian Job”, released in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the original film. Poster is in superb condition with minimal handling wear. Artwork by Kennedy Monk.

The Italian Job is a 1969 British comedy caper film written by Troy Kennedy Martin, produced by Michael Deeley, directed by Peter Collinson, and starring Michael Caine.

In addition to Caine, the cast also included Caine's younger brother Stanley, Benny Hill, Raf Vallone, Tony Beckley and Noël Coward; the film was Coward's last before he retired from acting.

Charlie Croker, recently released from prison, takes over a planned heist to steal gold bullion from a transport vehicle in Turin, Italy. He assembles a team to create a massive traffic jam using Mini Coopers, steal the gold, and escape through Turin's streets and storm drains. The plan includes having the Mini Coopers loaded onto a coach for a final getaway, which leads to a famous cliff-hanger ending.

The Italian authorities refused to close the roads, but the Italian Mafia stepped in and shut whole sections of Turin down for filming. The traffic jams in this movie are real, as are people's actions during them.

Camp Freddy has one of Miss Peach's cats on his lap “I shouldn't let her do that, dear. Gives them ideas.”
“You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!”
“Hang on a minute lads, I've got a great idea.”
