A Spanish war drama film about American troops looking for a German scientist as World War II in Europe ends. The film stars George Maharis as Sgt. Chips Slater, Maria Perschy as Elena Truppe, James Philbrook as Lt. Poole, Gérard Herter as Maj. Skorch, and Gustavo Rojo as Pvt. Hawk.

The war is winding down in Europe, but the Americans are looking for a German scientist. Problem is, some of the remaining SS is looking for him too. As the scientist flees, the Germans are always one step behind him and the Americans are always one step behind the Germans.
