Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade is an American action-adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg, based on a story by George Lucas and Menno Meyjes. It is the third instalment in the Indiana Jones film series and the sequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). Harrison Ford returns in the title role, while his father is portrayed by Sean Connery. Other cast members featured include Alison Doody, Denholm Elliott, Julian Glover, River Phoenix and John Rhys-Davies.

An art collector appeals to Indiana Jones to embark on a search for the Holy Grail. He learns that another archaeologist has disappeared while searching for the precious goblet, and the missing man is his own father, Dr. Henry Jones. The artefact is much harder to find than they expected, and its powers are too much for those impure of heart.
