An original Australian Daybill poster for the 1979 release of “Butch and Sundance: The Early Years”
An American western film and prequel to the 1969 film. It stars Tom Berenger as Butch Cassidy and William Katt as the Sundance Kid, with Jeff Corey reprising his role as Sheriff Bledsoe. It was directed by Richard Lester and written by Allan Burns.
The early partnership of outlaws Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Just paroled from a Wyoming prison on a vow to the state's Governor, affable and otherwise honourable Butch returns to his old stomping grounds of Brown's Hole, Utah, where he meets Sundance in a casino shootout gone wrong, the event initiated by Sundance whose prowess with a gun impresses Butch.
"Come on, are we going to rob something or not?"
