An original French Petite poster for the release of the 1979 film “Alien”, the poster has the standard central fold, but otherwise is in fabulous condition and most likely never displayed. 

An American science fiction horror film directed by Ridley Scott and written by Dan O'Bannon. Based on a story by O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett. The film stars Tom Skerritt, Sigourney Weaver, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, Ian Holm, and Yaphet Kotto.

It was produced by Gordon Carroll, David Giler, and Walter Hill. 

In deep space, the crew of the commercial starship Nostromo is awakened from their cryo-sleep capsules halfway through their journey home to investigate a distress call from an alien vessel. The terror begins when the crew encounters a nest of eggs inside the alien ship. A face-hugger organism from inside an egg leaps out and attaches itself to one of the crew, causing him to fall into a coma.
