A documentary film about an exhibition? Well, if the Film is about David Bowie, you can understand why. At 19.00 on Tuesday 13th August 2013 the Victoria & Albert Museum in London hosted simultaneously with 200 specially selected cinemas across the UK a live broadcast of “David Bowie is happening now”.

The advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited (one night only) cinema release is truly scarce. It really is stunning with classic Chris Duffy image of Bowie in Aladdin Sane persona - the name is a pun on "A Lad Insane" and it was inspired by Bowie's half-brother Terry, who had been diagnosed as a schizophrenic.
